In the 1960s, the skilled artisans Remo Niccolai and Gianfranco Giusti embarked on a remarkable journey when they established their production company in Pistoia. Their primary focus was the creation of sofas and armchairs renowned for their exquisite materials. Altavilla's success was intricately woven with the seamless fusion of tradition and innovation. The entirety of their production process, spanning from textiles and wood carving to assembly and distribution, takes place within their own facilities.
Today, under the capable stewardship of their descendants, Altavilla steadfastly adheres to its original mission. Every design produced remains distinctive, and each piece is meticulously handcrafted, resulting in a timeless creation characterised by unparalleled quality.
