MARIONI is a narrative about a family. It was founded in 1966 in Florence on the intuition of its creator, Paolo Marioni, and is now controlled by the third generation. The laboratory's original artisan nature swiftly evolves and, since the 1980s, has taken on the current corporate character. Starting with ceramics, the company gradually develops lines of home furnishings accessories, paying special attention to colour combinations, finishes, and ornamentation. Objects associated with detail ingenuity and hand execution competence. After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone takes over as CEO and directs the company through its growth and expansion into international markets.
