DESCRIPTION

This contemporary Mid-Century Modern style flush mount is handmade in Italy using crystal-clear Murano glass. The reeded glass bowl, blown on the island of Murano in the style of Barovier & Toso, is Stylishly frosted on the interior with "graniglia" (small glass particles blasted onto hot glass to create a unique texture). The piece is finished with a refined pie-crust, pinched scalloped border in amber gold-colored glass. A double reeded glass finial, worked with pure gold, adds a decorative touch, with the oval drop-shaped finial being removable if desired. This design can also be customized as a pendant chandelier with a central pole and canopy.
