DESCRIPTION
The Melting Chair, made in blue shagreen and bronze-patina brass, is a striking piece designed to complement a dining table or desk. Its intricate inlay work features shagreen running down the center of the legs, framed by irregularly textured brass, creating a unique “melting” effect. Upholstered in soft, lustrous blue velvet, the non-removable seat adds to its luxurious appeal. The shagreen finish, hand-dyed for authenticity, is described by the designer as "blue jean shagreen."
