Designed by renowned American architect John Russell Pope, the Jefferson Memorial honors the 3rd President of the United States and draws strong influence from neoclassical architecture, particularly the Roman Pantheon. Inspired by the distinct architectural features of this iconic monument, Porus Studio modernized the concept and made the Russell family of lighting. The lampshade, referencing the Memorial’s dome, is designed from alabaster with a minimalist, concave shape.
