Cristalleria ColleVilca
All Collevilca productions are crafted without the use of lead. They have made a conscious choice to prioritize sustainability by eliminating this material, traditionally relied upon for product durability. Through careful research, they have identified alternative materials that maintain high-quality performance while aligning with their eco-friendly values.
At Cristalleria ColleVilca
ColleVilca originated from the merger of the "Colle" and "Vilca" companies in 2003. Vilca, established in 1960 under the guidance of Franco Brogi, who sought knowledge in Waterfard, Ireland, in 1947, has collaborated with esteemed designers like Ambrogio Pozzi, David Palterer, and Shiro Kuramata throughout its history.
Founded in 1970, Colle has consistently strived to produce objects that blend high-quality craftsmanship with advanced technology. Since 1985, Colle has fostered a strong partnership with Italian designer and architect Angelo Mangiarotti, significantly shaping the company's production.
In 2003, Vilca acquired Colle, merging the two entities into a single brand: ColleVilca. ColleVilca champions the artisanal tradition of crystal processing, exclusively crafting materials in their factory in Colle di Val D'Elsa, with each piece meticulously handmade with devotion and passion.
