At Porte Italia

Today, the vibrant and luxurious artistic traditions of Venice continue to flow through our heritage. At Porte Italia, those who carry the legacy of the skilled artisans behind the original woodwork, paintings, and designs that adorn Palladio's villas and grace the palazzos along Venice's Grand Canal have embraced furniture, chandeliers, walls, ceilings, and doors as their canvas once more. Taking cues from Venice's color schemes, finishes, and ornate details, Porte Italia is rekindling the timeless allure of Italian handcrafted mastery within the modern landscape of interior design. This resurgence owes its inception to the partnership between the Lenarduzzi Family and American designer Mrs. Ann Graham, who breathed new life into this art form more than thirty years ago through the conduit of Porte Italia. Mr. Lenarduzzi's search for skilled artisans was a journey within his own surroundings. You see, every corner of Italy boasts its own cherished workshops and industries. For over four centuries, the core strength of Porte Italia has been intricate painting and ornamentation for the most opulent homes, villas, and palaces around the world – all meticulously crafted by hand. From humble home studios to garages imbued with the scent of paints, they converged. Descendants of the original masters, graduates of esteemed regional art institutions, a multitude of talents eager to wield their brushes on furniture, frescoes, ceilings, and doors reminiscent of their predecessors – the kind that still grace Venice's Ca' Rezzonico Museum. These furnishings are the sole global representatives that eloquently converse in the language of Italian artistry.
