Crafted by the skilled hands of Alessandro Bandiera from FDESTEEL, this unique piece features a carbon steel profile, meticulously heat-worked and hand-bent to evoke the iconic visage of a French comic character from the 1950s-1960s. Accompanying this distinctive profile is a hand-blown sphere measuring 21 cm in diameter. The finishing touches are applied with precision, as the metal undergoes a heat-burnishing process using a blowtorch, enhancing its natural shades and textures. While it is possible to display this piece outdoors, it is not recommended due to its delicate craftsmanship.
