DESCRIPTION
The Babele bookcase is a modular system featuring circular units designed for stacking as freestanding or wall-mounted structures (hardware provided). Inspired by Athanasius Kircher’s portrayal of the mythical Tower of Babel, this version consists of six units, each 42cm in height. These units are constructed with Ø 36cm discs connected by slender rods finished in DeLabré Orbitale copper, creating a tiered structure with a DeLabré iron finish. The manual finishing by De Castelli gives the metal a textured, scratched appearance. Additionally, the bookcase is offered with units measuring Ø 28cm x H 31cm, and it comes in various other finishes. For more options, please contact our Concierge service.
