This bust is a pretty good likeness of the Discobolus that the Greeks made. They’re famous for it. The British Museum has a few copies, and so does the Museo Nazionale Romano. If you look closely, you’ll see how carefully our artists at Studio Galleria Romanelli sculpted every wrinkle and strand of hair. The way part of the face and hair are so smooth but the other part is rough is really interesting. You can choose to have yours look like it just came out of the mold or give it an aged appearance.
