DESCRIPTION
Named after the renowned Chinese screens of the 17th and 18th centuries, this piece is sculptural objet d’art that also functions as a wall cabinet. With a striking black and white colour palette, its round wooden structure is partially upholstered in a silk bird jacquard fabric and adorned with round brass and fabric handles. The colour choices are inspired by the shades typical of lacquerware, precious stones, metals, and Oriental porcelain. Inside, the cabinet is crafted from wood and features smoky glass shelves and a mirrored back, enhancing its elegant design.
