Colé is the creative vision of Matteo De Ponti, an architect from a renowned Milanese design family, and Laura Macagno, an art-loving Economics graduate from Argentina. Their designs merge influences from 1950s Italian design, Scandinavian simplicity, Bauhaus functionality, and ethnic craftsmanship, inspired by the homes of 20th-century writers.
Named after a cherished memory from Argentina, Colé reflects their love for art and modernist icons like Mondrian, De Chirico, and Escher. Each piece blends aesthetic depth with contemporary practicality, embodying their shared passion for art and design.
