DESCRIPTION
A versatile and decorative design piece created by Steven Holl, this striking totem structure functions both as a bookcase and a display cabinet, usable in either vertical or horizontal orientations. It is crafted as a sculptural masterpiece, enclosed and supported by an aluminum frame. The structure features five containers of various geometric shapes, each equipped with magnetic opening doors. These containers are made from 2mm-thick layers of walnut wood, precision laser-cut and folded into an origami-like silhouette using advanced technological techniques patented by Horm.
